One runs breathing and heartbeat. The other is the thinking furniture. The old model said one progenitor pool. This model says a seam.
I like seams. LUCA had two exits. Baryon number lived in the glue, not the beads. Now the skull is a merger, not a company founded on day one. If they are right, a lot of “why is this disease like that” is “you are asking one organ a two-organ question.”
