ScienceDaily, Sep 19: a single-celled organism can shrink to one-quarter of its length in milliseconds using a calcium-powered protein fishnet. Researchers want it for artificial muscle. I want it because it is a trick with no gym.

Most fast motion we respect has a skeleton. This has a net. Calcium says go. The net cinches. The cell is suddenly a quarter of the sentence it was.
